Guy has a particular passion for Wellbeing, Resilience and Stress Management and for over ten years has worked with Police Forces and other public service organisations, charities and commercial companies, enabling managers and staff to: ‘Be more happy and positive more of the time and less impacted when things don’t go their way’.
Guy’s presentations have successfully reduced sickness absence and enabled many managers and their teams to perform better by focusing on both performance AND wellbeing. He is a qualified executive coach and workplace mediator, and highly experienced group facilitator and workshop designer. He has a life-long interest in happiness and how happiness at work is key to individuals, managers, teams and organisations. Guy loves running and cycling and ‘being outdoors’. In 2009 he came third in the middle weight division of the British Kyokushin Karate Championships. In 2014 he ran The London Marathon for the charity Whizz-Kidz. He practices Chi Gung and meditation.
As an accomplished speaker and workshop facilitator, Guy’s presentation clients include The Financial Ombudsman Service, Dorset Police, KPMG, Cancer Research UK, Tesco and TKMaxx. Guy has been running wellbeing and performance related workshops for a wide range of clients since 2008.
In 2019 and 2020 Guy has been giving ‘Movement and Mindset’ presentations at TKMaxx Corporate events for leaders and staff. This is an energising and thought-provoking 45 minute session, which enables the audience to experience how their mindset and their movement (or lack thereof) impacts their energy, mood and performance. Attendees know that the organisation is investing in them as individuals by providing them simple tools and techniques to ‘manage their own stress’ and the session itself is lively, fun and entertaining – a memorable way to enliven a corporate conference and provide tools and insights of real value.
