09 Feb Congratulations to comedian, actor & director, Chris Addison
The highly coveted Directors Guild of America comedy series award has been won by Chris Addison for his direction of the Election Night episode of Veep. Better known as the star of Amando Iannucci’s award winnng political sitcom, In the Thick of It, Chris missed the presentation of the prestigious directorial honour as he is currently performing at the Royal Opera House in a production of L’Etoile. The multi-talented comedian is starring in the 19th Century comic opera at the moment and continues, in an integral but non-singing role, until 24th February.
