Michael is a leading management advisor throughout the UK and in Europe. His main areas of expertise are creativity, team building, effective self-expression and communication skills. Having gained a degree in Sociology, he then became a professional actor and presenter for nearly 20 years. He appeared in theatres throughout the UK and became a familiar face on British TV. A pioneer of theatre techniques in education and subsequently business, he has written for radio and TV and created many industrial training films.

Management consultancy founder, he has worked with thousands of people at all levels of management, to improve their personal effectiveness and communication skills – including senior executives from companies such as, Carlsberg Tetley, EMAP, Hewlett Packard, LloydsTSB, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, SunMicrosystems, Hilton Hotels, T-Mobile, Whitbread and the London Stock Exchange.

He has co-authored several books: “Dramatic Success” and “Leading Your Team” (Nicholas Brealy) “ACE Teams – creating star performance in business” (Butterworth Heinemann) and three in the “Perfect Management Series” on Presentation, Communication and Leadership (Arrow Books).

In recognition of his expertise in the above areas, he is regularly asked to speak or run sessions at conferences all over the world, on Teams, Leadership, Creativity and Innovation, Unlocking Potential, Communication and Sales Motivation. Michael is also a guest lecturer at MIT/Sloan Business School (Boston USA) and the IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland.)
