Marketing expert and entrepreneur Liz Jackson founded Great Guns at only 25 and went blind the same year. She is a truly inspirational motivational speaker who addresses a number of themes including, overcoming adversity, innovation, leadership, teamwork, diversity and communication.
Liz Jackson is a truly inspirational figure and her story is extraordinary; as many would have seen when she was featured in Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire programme. She launched her telemarketing business, Great Guns Marketing, in 1998, the year she lost her eyesight, with the help of a Prince of Wales Trust £1000 grant. Liz headed up Great Guns Marketing, a business-to-business appointment making agency, for 17 years and can successfully boast a multi-million pound turnover. The company also won the coveted Customer Focused Award at the National Business Awards
Liz is also of the prestigious Women Mean Business Award – Britain’s biggest award for female entrepreneurs, recognising the importance of independent businesswomen to the community as well as to the economy. Liz has also founded a charity to support young entrepreneurs.
Liz went on to become Marketing Director for sales advisory consultancy BCMS. She is also an accomplished motivational speaker and themes include: telemarketing, sales and communication, understanding business valuation and the best time to sell and business innovation.
