BBC News Business Correspondent, Katie Prescott, is  a familiar voice to millions of listeners as a Business Presenter on Radio 4’s Today programme.

Katie is a regular on BBC1, working across all the corporation’s major news outlets.  She appears on screen to explain and analyse the effects of key issues including COVID-19, new technology, sustainability and climate change.

As a result of more than a decade’s experience with the BBC, Katie has reported on a wide range of issues.  These range from the European debt crisis to the unfolding events of the Coronavirus pandemic. Katie has travelled widely for her work, from Tanzania and Rwanda to China and America.  She has also worked as working as a journalist in the BBC’s New York Bureau.
