Award winning comedian, Henning Wehn, is the (unofficial) German Comedy Ambassador to The United Kingdom. This is quite a challenging role as allegedly Germans do not have a sense of humour. Henning is not amused. He took up the role after witnessing an open mic night that left him convinced that he would do better, and ever since has been performing as the self-styled ‘German Comedy Ambassador.’ He’s now an established comedian gently mocking stereotypes, appearing in comedy clubs, touring, appearing in festivals, and regularly on TV performing “beautifully crafted diatribes” according to Time Out. Television includes the comedy panel show,[8 Out of 10 Cat, BBC’s Would I lie to You and QI, and also appeared on Channel 4’s political discussion / comedy show 10 O’Clock Live in 2013. He is also a recurring panellist on both the BBC Radio Five Live comedy sports show Fighting Talk and on the BBC Radio Four panel game The Unbelievable Truth. He is a popular choice as comedy host and stand up comedian at a wide range of corporate events.
