Business speaker Evan Davis is the presenter of the hugely popular BBC2 show, Dragon’s Den.  He is also well known as the host of BBC2’s current affairs programme, Newsnight.  Evan is the former Radio 4 Today Programme presenter and BBC Economics Editor.  He is a leading economist, journalist and presenter. Evan has been responsible for reporting and analysing economic developments on a wide range of programmes on BBC radio and television.

Evan has received the Work Foundation’s Broadcast Journalist of the Year award on three occasions.  In addition he has also won the Harold Wincott Business Broadcaster of the Year award.  Other television  includes several appearances on the topical comedy quiz show, Have I Got News for You.

He is the author of Public Spending,  a co-author of the Penguin Dictionary of Economics and the Penguin Dictionary of Business.  His insightful book, the acclaimed Post Truth, was published in 2017.
