Stephen Attenborough
Former Commercial Director Virgin Galactic and inspirational speaker, Stephen Attenborough, is in much demand to speak at corporate events on a wide range of themes including innovation and leadership.
International speaker, Stephen Attenborough, is the former Commercial Director for Virgin Galactic, a company owned by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group created to provide commercial space flights. In 2023 he became a Board Member of Virgin Unite and an advisory board member at Space for Humanity
Stephen joined Virgin Galactic as the company’s first full time employee in 2004 to put in place the commercial foundations of the business. He went on to lead a team in London covering sales, marketing, customer care, PR and communications. He also had responsibility for workstreams developing and managing the astronaut experience as well as the liability, insurance and regulatory framework initially as Commercial Director and latterly as Chief Customer Officer.
Stephen joined Virgin Galactic having escaped a career in investment management in the City of London.
