Canon Roger Royle is Chaplain of Southwark Cathedral. Roger is a witty after dinner speaker, a regular preacher and has become an author with books entitled: A Few Blocks From Broadway, Royle Exchange, To Have and to Hold and Picking up the Pieces. He was a regular presenter of Songs of Praise on BBC1and on radio and presented his regular Sunday morning show called Good Morning Sunday. He presented the Sunday Half Hour on Radio 2 for 16 years.
He presented his own television series, Royle Progress, for Southern Television and the Royle Line for Ulster TV.
He is a regular contributor to the Wogan programme with Pause for Thought on Wake Up to Wogan. Other radio appearances include, Stop the Week, The John Dunn Show, Start the Week and Midweek.
Roger was honoured by the Archbishop of Cantebury with a Lambeth Degree in recognition of his work in the media.
