Paul was selected as the host of Channel 4’s popular topical comedy show `Stand Up For the Week in 2013′. Other television includes a headlining stand up set for `Live At the Apollo’ and appearing as a regular comedian on `Stand Up For the Week’ before being appointed to the host role. Paul Chowdhry was awarded Loaded Laftas Funniest Stand-Up of 2013 by public vote. Other nominees in the leading category were Michael McIntyre, Ross Noble, Kevin Bridges and Jon Richardson.
Paul has had two sell out shows at the Indig02, the West End’s Leicester Square Theatre and numerous other major venues across the country. He has appeared in the headline role for ‘The Comedy Store TV Special’ & ‘Comedy Blue’ series for the Comedy Central Channel. He has appeared on `Celebrity Family Fortunes’ Paul also presented on MTV’s comedy weekend and featured on ‘The Young Gods of Comedy’ with excellent reviews. He has performed at the 02 Centre, Wembley Arena and The Grosvenor House and was chosen by The Telegraph as a ‘must do’ show of the year.
