The BAFTA award winning comedian, Michael McIntyre, has just hosted the Royal Variety Show to great reviews.  It is the show that effectively launched his illustrious career with an outstanding performance eight years ago. This year's show was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and also featured fellow highly popular corporate award winning comedians and comedy hosts, Russell Kane and Jack Whitehall.

Recorded last night, the programme will be featured on ITV in December  and is an annual favourite of the Christmas television season having been running for over 100 years.

Michael's massive 2012 tour, Showtime, was performed in 71 arenas, playing to over 700,000 people, including a record breaking 10 nights at the O2 Arena in London. He has gone on to perform internationally to huge sell out audiences in arenas in South Africa, Dubai, Norway, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.  Michael's latest tour will be The Happy and Glorious Tour UK and Ireland 2015.
