Scout leader, Ashley Wilson, and international motivational speaker, James Ketchell,  are set to depart on Saturday 25th April to embark on an incredible charity fundraising 3600 mile row acros the Indian Ocean.

James and Ash will depart from Geraldton, Western Australia and cross to Mauritius. The Indian Ocean is one of the least rowed oceans in the world and more people have travelled into space than rowed across it.

They are raising funds for three charities close to their hearts, The Young Epilepsy Foundation, The Elifar Foundation and The Scout Association.

Ash is an inspirational character and currently in remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer, whilst also suffering from epilepsy. James, who has already completed the "ultimate triathlon" having rowed the Atlantic, climbed Everest and cycled around the world, has undergone training by charity Young Epilepsy, to help Ashley cope with his seizures on board the vessel

James is an accomplished motivational speaker and will be in huge demand on the pair's return in August 2015.
