Friday 27th May 2012 will see Dara O'Briain host this year's prestigious TV Bafta Awards ceremony at London's Royal Festival Hall. The event will be shown on BBC1 that evening. Dara is to replace Graham Norton due to a clash with the eurovision Song Contest. The popular host of Mock the Week and The Apprentice: You're Fired has said “I’m delighted and honoured to be taking the reins at this year’s British Academy Television Awards, in the prestigious role as the person who introduces the people who read out the winners of the awards. And if Adele wins anything, I promise I’ll leave her well alone, no matter what time it is.”

Dara is an excellent corporate comedian and comedy host.  "As well as being likeable, intelligent and, yes, funny, O’Briain has the added bonus of being the best dressed comic," The Independent.
