Channel 4 have invited, the Australian comic, Adam Mills, to join the commentary team for the Paralympics 2012.

Adam was born without a right foot and wears a prosthetic replacement. Adam has already hosted coverage of the 2008 Bejing Paralympics for ABC. Channel 4 says Adam, "will bring a combination of experience and quick wit to the peak evening highlights show". He will be joining Clare Balding and Ade Adepitan in the coverage.

Adam has won both the Perrier comedy festival award and prize for best comedy performance at the prestigious Helpmann Awards (Australia's equivalent of the West End's Oliver Awards). His British Television credits include "Mock the Week,""Never Mind The Buzzcocks," "The BBC Stand Up Show", "The World Stands Up," and "The World Comedy Tour" which also screened internationally. Adam is much in demand for corporate cabaret and award hosting
