Alan Carr is being heralded as one of Britain's fastest rising comic talents.  He has been leaving audiences breathless the length and breadth of the country for the last few years. He can now be seen regularly on Channel 4 as co-host of the Friday Night Project. He was nominated for the show as best newcomer with his fellow host Justin Lee Collins at the latest British comedy Awards screened live on ITV and hosted by the inimitable Jonathan Ross.

At the start of his career he won the Citylife New Comedian of the Year and was then awarded the winner of the Northwest Stand Up of The Year and winnerof the BBC New Comedian of the Year.

He has left his mark on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with hugely successful shows: Alan Carr; I love Alan Carr and Me Ead's Spinning.  His shows have played to sell out crowds every night and gained a plethora of five star reviews across the board.  His latest nationwide tour was a sell out culminating in three nights at The Hammersmith Apollo.  Alan is now a regular at all the major comedy clubs in the UK and even has his own monthly night at the Manchester Comedy Store, Alan Carr's Ice Cream Sunday.
